Other ways to consume fenugreek is as a tea or bread baked with fenugreek flour.
Fenugreek helps the body to release more insulin. It also contains soluble fibre that aids with digestion and absorption of glucose.
But prolonged use of fenugreek can cause symptoms. It may have effects on sciatic nerve issues and peripheral neuropathy. When experiencing these symptoms your muscles will feel week and you begin to lose feeling in your nerves. Fenugreek can also cause allergic reactions. Your body's ability to effectively absorb medications taken by mouth is also a side effect of fenugreek. However the amount of fenugreek that you consume in your food will not have any effects on your body except for allergic reactions. Do not use fenugreek within a few hours of taking your medication. A maple syrup like smell coming from your armpits happens after extended use.
