Golden Cage II (oil on canvas 70 x 100 cm)
This is one of variations of my painting "Golden Cage" from my previous period. This cage is not a typical golden cage. It is a cage from which should does not wish to fly away. Big enough to fly in it. Nature is beyond us and within us, a romantic approach to the world. I worked this painting in several times for many years, because of that it is get that texture. At one point there was a ship that I removed.
Ovo je jedna od verzija slike "Zlatni kavez" iz mog ranijeg perioda. Ovaj kavez nije tipičan zlatni kavez već kavez iz kog se ne želi izleteti. Dovoljno velik da bi se u njemu letelo. Priroda je van nas i u nama, romantičarski pristup sagledavanja sveta. Sliku sam dorađivao u više navrata kroz niz godina, otuda i njena pastuoznost i tekstura. U jednom momentu tu je bio i brod koji sam ipak uklonio.
breathless... there´s a feeling of loneliness, sadness but peace at the same time. is like a soul looking altrough the looking glass to itself and wishing a last touch of kindness...
