Escape from home

Happy Valentine's Day, all!!
Today is special to me although I am not with my lover from the beginning of the day. It is a normal working day and Chinese lunar date Dec 29 (2 days before CNY 2018). Why is it so special to me? Let the story starts here...
Early morning, I fetched my 2 years old daughter to kindergarden as usual then went back home for work. Oh, it’s 11:45am!! I have to go from home before my daughter arrives home from her kindergarden!!! I got to escape from her because she is very clingy these few days. Don’t know why?! If I still working at home while she is also at home, I don’t think I have the “luxury” to work peacefully like now… She will call mommy.. mommy.. everything needs mommy to do for her, accompany her, sleep & play with her.

Alright, went out from home at 12 pm but where should I go with the heavy laptop? OK, just drove and saw a café. Wanna go in and work at the café yet there is NO parking!! Next, where else can I go? Erm… drive further and saw a parking just in front of a small commercial building. So, I just parked since it is difficult to find a parking then I went inside the building to simply pick a restaurant to have my lunch there. I had a salted egg chicken rice set lunch which comes with a Chinese herbal tea “loh hon guo” and dessert at SpringBerry Café.

After I finished my lunch there, thinking to stay there and work. Yet, I noticed that it is full house and noisy. Then, I decided to leave and back to the café that I passed by just now. I drove for a few rounds and finally got a parking. I came to this Bean Story Café. Yes!! This is the place that I am looking for and I can stay here to have a peace of mind to continue my work. Stomach still full… what can I order is just a Caffe latte… maybe I can order a waffle later on. <If not, it's no good to sit for few hours with just a cup of latte. hehe..>

Now, I decided to capture this experience in Steemit because this is my first time to escape from home and work in a café. It is good experiences which I feel really relax with the environment, music and most importantly it has fewer customers. HAHA…

However, I will end the journey to work from home after CNY and will be back to the office with 9am-6pm office hours!! Sure, I will come back again to this café, maybe not for work but to write in Steemit more often!! Thank god to give me a chance to escape from home and found this café nearby my house.
