Thanks for your comment @khimgoh. For one cup of milk, I use about 1/2 inch to 1 inch fresh turmeric lighyly pounded with fresh black pepper (5 to 6 seeds). Leave it to boil. The taste is good. Try and see. I also omit the sugar but for my son, I add a bit of sugar.
Alternatively, honey can be used once the milk has cool down to room temperature.
