Diaries of an ice skater mom..#15... Girls day out in KL

Back to KL .. been back 2 days ago but too pooped to write anything. Spent the first day at the dentist... emergency !! Bless Dr Fauziah for seeing me on her day off. But then that's expected if you have been friends since age 10 !! I sure do love that girl.

Met up with 2 girl friends today for an early birthday lunch for one of them. We had planned to go to Merchant Lane but it was closed so the uncle who manned the shop downstairs recommended another cafe a few doors away.
Turned out to be an interesting find.
Called Cho' cha...it was on the ground floor of another shop lot similar to Merchant Lane.
Food was an interesting mix of Asian fusion.

We ordered 4 plates to share.

This is Curry flower... actually cauliflower in an interesting curry mix. I liked it.

Another one I liked. Baby prawns salad... actually it's 'har mai' !

Alio oglio smoked duck....so so... found it slightly oily

This has an interesting name..Bang Bang Chicken....I liked the shredded chicken but the glass noodles were not up to standard. It has a very strong spice aroma but not taste.

In any case, it was an interesting find. My friend concentrated on snapping photos of the place while I focused on the food !!
