Blissful Saturday

Saturday, 13th January 2018

Woke up around 7AM in the morning to my playful cats that somehow managed to get under my duvet and crawled around trying to find her way out. Felt like a warm fuzzy thing resting on my leg at some point. At least it wasn't some creepy crawlies ugh

I had a looooong day ahead and was motivated to get everything done fingers crossed and I jumped out of bed and went straight to the showers. Did my usual morning routines such as cleaning the litter, feeding the cats, giving the cats a hard time to accept the noisy sucking monster aka the "Vacuum Cleaner" cue the suspense music and the list goes on. I had a good start to my mornings and got a nice hot tea while waiting for the time to turn 11AM. Before I left, I gave my cats canned food as for a reward to stay home all day does this work LOL

Sent a message to @elliebong and @HanBun to let them know I was on the way to pick them up. We have never met or spoken to each other ever before yet we managed to chat away throughout the 30-minute journey. I am fairly new to Steemit and asked how are they managing with steemit and if they had any success with this platform. I was in shock after hearing their stories and what have they achieved so far.

Early birds catches.. the freshest burger?

We arrived at Big Hug burger fairly early and managed to talk around with those who have arrived earlier like @viverridae and @elizacheng . I was honestly really nervous when I was around all these amazing people and I didn't really have much to say as I was blown away listening to their journey in Steemit and where they came from just for this event! Most of the time I was really shy and didn't know what to talk about as I felt like I was not able to share much of my experience in the platform.Even met the young blogger @notimetospace which was amazing! Although I might have looked like I was really quiet, most of the time I was listening to everyone's story and enjoying the burger as well lol

Most of my time during the event was chatting away with @chloephuan93 and smelling @natalielo 's amazing ginger spice handmade soap. It really smells like winter nights while having Tong Yuan. Managed to chat with the amazing @zord189 and learning some fun facts about his animation career! Still in shock with the fact that he worked for Miraculous Ladybug

O B S E S S E D !

The event was amazing and its so good to hear how this community is helping one another and listening to everyone's journey was just an eye-opener to the amazing possibilities of what Steemit has to offer. I am forever grateful to @aa10 for paying my first Steemit social gathering. I hope you will be able to attend next time! To everyone that I did not manage to talk to, I hope you guys would be able to show me a few tips and tricks to make my content better! Thank you so much for the amazing food @danielwong ! Kudos to you for allowing us to come to your beautiful restaurant :)

Might sound like I had my day ended there right?

Nope!

I had to drive back to Cyberjaya and back to my hometown which takes another 40 mins to attend a meeting with my Highschool girlfriends to discuss bridesmaids duty! I'm so psyched for her wedding sometime this year and we were discussing where to hold our hen party and deciding on colours we will be wearing on the day. Had to stay there for a good couple of hours discussing away up to 7PM aaaaaaand, after that I had to stop by my parents home to get dinner with my mum and sister. I had a long talk with mum about life, and future plans and we had a very good talk after so long.

Phew! What a long day

Honestly, it was the longest day with mixed emotions overall. I reached home around 12PM and just washed my makeup off and was ready for bed.
