Knife i made

in #teamaustralia7 years ago (edited)

Hey all
This is a knife that i put together, the blade comes from Finland (and made from 80 CrV2 carbon steel) the rest of if I made buy hand in my workshop, the handle is Tasmanian blackwood, curly birch, and nickel as is the bolster
The blade is 175mm long and 3.2 mm thick, sharpend to a 25 degree angle it is very sharp and strong like a gorilla
(Like the mist gorillas we have on mount wellington, the gorillas are sometimes known to comedown off the mt
And enjoy a coffiee in one of the many cafe we have in hobart)
Now sence there are no rules on steemit i am going to sell this knife here on steemit (note i will only post express here in australia paypal or direct deposit is fine) does steemit have a pm system? I am still new here so i have no idea
Otherwise [email protected]
with a leather sheath you can have it for $180 aud (i can make a sheath for it or you can have it for $150aud without it)

Great knife! Can you use it to cut down your enemies? ;)

Well yes,yes you can

You make some rally good knives Tas 👍🏼

Thank you good sir, they do take a while to make, yea no one on the tube wanted it which is weird but ok
So i thought i would try and sell it here who knows?
Anyway best australia day to you mate have a good one

That's a real nice knife Taz but I think customs would have a fit if I bought it!😂

Hummm yea they may do
Cant imagine why maybe its size?
Anyway thanks for coming buy

Maybe I'm not sure on the rules. But I do know someone who bought a ka-bar (Vietnam Era) and got the third degree from customs over it!😐

If it had been modified so that the tip was dagger like that woild do it
I have checked there is no problem as long as it's not a two edged dagger type or switchblade
Or automatic knife shoild be fine
