SOUTH PERTH HUNTING POINTS
Directly following Friday livestream action is a tasty encounter between cellar dwellers South Perth and Cockburn EWA.
South Perth are in all sorts of trouble and will need to get the likes of former Championship MVP Remo Capitani, Massimo Basolu and Luka Bergomi firing if they are to get their season back on track - and a win may be all that is needed.
Cockburn EWA, the brash youngsters who took the State Futsal League by storm earlier on in the season have somewhat slowed, as they found trouble trying to run over the top of the Murdoch Warriors last weekend.
There is no doubt the likes of Cjivanovic, Gavranic and Kukic will be looking to redeem last weeks lost points, but South Perth have the capability to make this one a very even contest.
If South Perth can play a physical style of futsal, especially on the likes of key men Mark Gavranic and Alek Kukic, they may be able to frustrate the youngsters into mistakes, and capitalise on the counter. They must take their chances if they are to stop the Cockburn train. Unlikely, but a chance.
