What if Income Taxes were voluntary?
“The income tax is, therefore, not a tax on income as such. It is an excise tax with respect to certain activities and privileges which is measured by reference to the income which they produce. The income is not the subject of the tax: it is the basis for determining the amount of the tax.” [U.S. Congressional Record, March 27, 1943 (page 2580)]
Those are the words of F. Morse Hubbard, a former legislative draftsman for the U.S. Treasury Department (one of those whose job it is to write tax statutes and regulations).
Many of you will be jumping into this article thinking this will be some sort of hypothetical question asked and answered. However what I will be discussing is that for the majority of people income taxes are in fact voluntary, and we have been being duped into thinking otherwise.
How can this be you ask? I know, I know, it seems far fetched especially with all of the media coverage when a high profile individual goes to jail for tax evasion. Well it all comes down to semantics and legal definitions. You the income tax code has been specifically written to be very confusing, referencing laws and statutes all over the place making research extremely difficult and frustrating. However there have been several people willing to do the research necessary to fully grasp what the so called "income tax" actually has the authority to tax. One such person that was instrumental in my awaking on this subject is a guy named Peter Eric Hendrickson. Peter has written a book called "Cracking the Code - The Fascinating Truth about Taxation in America"
What it all breaks down to is the words "income", "wages", "employer", "employee" all mean very specific things in relation to the tax code. These words that we use on a daily basis to describe our compensation as it relates to the business we conduct, have been given special meaning in the tax code. So when we file our tax forms we accept the meaning of these terms as the meaning we have been giving them in our conversations. However by doing this we are most of the time classifying the money we earn as taxable when in fact it is not, there by voluntarily paying income taxes.
So in the tax code "wages" & "income" mean compensation from earnings directly from the Government or from dividends earned from from direct investment in government corporations.
"Employees" work for Government or "employers" earning "income" and "wages".
This can seem very confusing at first but once it all sinks in it becomes perfectly clear.
If you would like me to post more detailed information and/or some examples please share/resteem and up-vote my post so I know there is more interest in this subject.
the GOV would go broke and that's a good thing
Detail it out! Should shock more than a few...
All I needed to see was one interested party, I will share more details in my next post.

The problem here is that I am not aware of this being used successfully in court, or to defend an audit. This information, while appearing logically sound, is only as good as its practical efficacy.
I would be intrigued if you could follow-up on any examples of this being successfully used, as we could begin to formulate a step-by-step plan for success that others could replicate. Until we have a reliably successful legal strategy, this simply sounds akin to the "sovereign citizen" stuff I've seen fail in courtroom after courtroom.
I have successfully filed my 2016 returns using this information. I am curently awaiting for returns from my amended 2015 & 2014 returns.

I took a long look at that site again, although I have been aware of it. I don't know how to determine the truth behind any of the claims of victories there, but a quick google does show this link:

Looks like it didn't work out for him so well.

I am skeptical of whether the victories listed on the site were temporary or permanent. 10 years is a pretty long statute of limitations for tax collection.
Are they any government documents confirming these victories hosted at .gov sites, such as court records?
It seems counterintuitive for the government to post documents shedding light on the success people are having with this. The best documentation I can find is still with lost horizons, they also document success with government rebuttals.
See this: http://losthorizons.com/Documents/CtCSuppression.htm
Thanks. If this works in courts, there should be unredacted legal filings that can be accessed via .gov sites. Since they would have no reason to photoshop them against their own case, that's what I was hoping to find.
