If you, while traveling, want to try something local and by that "local" I mean the best place for the local food/drinks, then TasteAtlas is a must for you. Still in pre-launch phase but already promises so much.
Already imported more than 5 000 dishes, tens of thousands worldwide shares and tens of millions unique gives TasteAtlas bright future. Project has started around 3 years ago by the Croatian - Matija Babić, who gather around himself 15ish hard working and intelligent people with one goal - to discover, recommend and guide you to the best local food and drinks places, in the form of the web site or mobile app, all over the world, wherever you are.
What is it all about? Imagine that you are travelling Italy and you want to try best local food (pasta, lasagna, pizza...). You just need to visit TasteAtlas WEB, find the Italy on the map of the world and just choose region and the dish. TasteAtlas will guide you through all the places that serve best food/drink that you want to taste, give you opinions of the people who were there already and at the end guide you there. It is pretty simple.
What makes TasteAtlas different from other food/drink recommend apps? TasteAtlas is created by dozen people who were investigating all the local foods/drinks and spent numerous hours of reading reviews from local experts... and (let's say) TripAdvisor food/drink spots are made by the owners of that spots and it can be really misleading by the all kind of frauds people do today to make a reputation.
