RE: A LETTER FOR THE 16 YEAR OLD ME

in #talking167 years ago (edited)

Hi, this is @mermaidvampire, the judge of the contest. Girl, stay fab and rad and keep rocking! Teenage life is meant to be confusing, everything happens so fast and you need to keep up but you aren't just there yet. Too many pressures, too noisy mind. Too many things going on, guess what, you just need to focus in finding yourself, pick one nice voice in your head, that is your voice, stay with her no matter what, her voice is the only thing that should matter. There are so many things to do, guess what, you cannot do all of them, so you have to have a laser focus on one path, one goal, the most that you are passionate about. If you have focus, it will make you move, no matter how slow you move it is a step to accomplish to that end goal you want to have.

I am happy you joined this contest, so far, you are the youngest. I am 33 years old and I have kidney failure, I am on dialysis. I read the entire post and I saw about you mention purging... If I have the chance to talk to the 16-year old me, I'd tell her to take care of her health more, to eat right, to exercise, to avoid all the bad stuff because health is really wealth. I want to share that message with you. You are young and you have a good perspective, girl, you will go a long way. Just hang on, make mistakes and learn. Know that life is what you make it. Life is a choice.

I don't know much about you but I want you to be my Steemit friend, I have followed you. I want to share with you my story. I have an old post, you might get a thing or two in here: https://steemit.com/bycolemancontest/@mermaidvampire/reach-out-and-keep-going

Thanks for joining @cadawg's contest. You are awesome! Stay rad and fab! i'll see you around Steemit!
