Yehliu Geopark
Probably the most mysterious place in Taiwan is situated at the north-east coast of Taiwan, between Keelung and Taibei, near the small city of Wanli. Today we gonna visit the Yehliu Geopark which is part of Daliao Formation belonging to the Tertiary Period, Miocene epoch. This is a really fantastic place with some fancy rocks as "mushrooms", "shoes" or "Queen's head".
Tourists like this place...
While i was waiting for the bus when going back, the old taiwanese man started a coverstion with me. He was impressed by the fact i went there myself. He lived in USA around 40 years after he graduated NTU. But now he's back to his homeland and his son was studying chinese as a foreign language. So, why am i telling it to you... He said, last time he been here was few years ago and the place changed a lot. And the crowds of tourists (Mainland chinese in major) are getting bigger and bigger.
These "Queen heads" are fake, made just for taking pictures. Later you will understand why.
The water here is magnificent: very pure.
First part of the park pano
Most formations are named.
This one called "mushrooms"
"cute princess"
How it looks a bit closer
If you will try to cross the red line, guardians start shouting "halleuu" =)
But it could be really dangerous sometimes. There are few peoples died in the park

These nature creatings are really fantastic. Feel like you areon another planet
Lin Tian-Cheng tried to rescue a student dropped down by huge waves in 1964. Both gone.
Keep going...
This thing was used to count ships' speed. IDK how to use it, sorry =)
Apart from shouting "halleu", security are taught also to take photos.
And those who want a picture with Her Majesty...
...or even to talk to her...
...have to queue
The Queen's neck is getting thiner year by year. So hurry to see it while you can.
Some no-comments photos
If you will pay some attention, you can find some nice fossil on the ground, but don't even try to get 'em out ;)
If you pay a bit more attention you can also find unbroken one
These stones is called "tofu"
And then you can take the trail to the top of this tiny mountain. The views are not bad there
But it's a bit uncomfortable to stay on the edge
There is a lighthouse and mobile tower on top
I really wanted to get on top of it like i did before in Russia, but i'm in Taiwan =)
[su_spoiler title="Get to the top of mobeli tower near Moscow"]
Uh, i really love Russian summer =( ok, let's back to Taiwan...
The best way to make somebody do something - restrict him do that
To the finish of the stair, it... dissolves
