Today, exactly five years ago we have lost a great scholar, Murshid Tariqah, hadith scholars, Tasawwufun and a faqih, he is Al-Hafidh Al-Allamah Syeikh Said Ramadhan Al-Buthi. He is a scholar of Ahlussunnah Waljama'ah who often criticized the mujahideen and terrorists who fought in Syria without reasons but what happened to him? they killed him in a suicide bombing as he filled a lecture at a mosque.

Its chronology is very sad when he filled the halaqah in the mosque, suddenly someone blew up a suicide bomb but not about Al-Buthi, and then he gets up to take a handkerchief then someone comes shoot at him from close range. For me, The death of Syeikh Al-Buthi is a clear proof of terrorism in Syria. Not just Sheikh Al-Buthi, but also Sheikh Hassan Hussein who killed, his head beheaded and his body was paraded on the streets, as well as Syeikh Badruddin Hossain who his son also killed by Mujahideen/Terrorist. They mentioned are Sunni Scholar But apparently, they refuse to support mujahideen. It's mean, this is not Sunni against Shia. Are if we refuse Mujahideen, it's mean we are Assad's henchmen?, and are someones who oppose the behaviour of Mujahideen named as a Shia? Of course that's a naive conclusion.

I still remember when Sheikh Al-Qardhawi interviewed by Al-Jazeera and he said that "People who cooperate with the Syria Government, we must fight/kill all of them (yajib an nuqaatilahum jamii'an), be it from the military, civilians or Scholar (ulama)".

I think it's become a reason why mujahidin/Terrorist kill Syeikh Al-Buthi.
