The controversy on "Black Panther" Clothes Serena Continues
American Serena Williams will still wear the super hero "Black Panther" style outfit at the French Open grand slam tournament despite controversy.
Many people questioned whether the model of the black-colored Serena outfit does not violate the rules on fashion for women.
Serena who just gave birth to the first daughter, last September beat Kristyna Pliskova in the first round. Pliskova questioned the validity of the clothing worn by his opponent. "I wonder if this is in line with the rules," the world number 70 said. "I do not know what material to use, it looks like neoprene."
Even Pliskova cynically asks Serena to follow the rules of dress. "If you do not want to play it naked," he said.
But the Nike sportswear company that issued the Serena outfit said Serena had no problems with her outfit. "He will still wear it," said the Nike.
Australian double player Arina Rodionova also commented on this. "I have no problem with Serena outfits, it looks cool," Rodionova wrote through her twitter account.
But Rodionova again reminded the rules about this dress. "But if by rule, we may only wear leggings, it should also wear a skirt over the leggings." Has the rule been changed?
While the Russian doubles player, Alia Kudryatseva actually support the style of dress is Serena. He also hopes Serena's actions will make the rules on how dress is reviewed. "I was always asked to wear a skirt over my leggings, very uncomfortable, or I was asked to remove the leggings, as I faced in a grand slam or WTA tournament," Kudryatseva wrote.
"I am as hopeful as I can be with just wearing leggings.Come on, Serena!"
