A few photos from this week
I just wanted to share a few photos that I’ve taken this week. I hope you enjoy them.
This picture is of a ground cover plant that grows in my yard that was broken off accidentally. It looks nice in the vase and I’m hoping it will root so that I can plant it back in the yard.

Here’s a picture of a ladybug that was on the stinging nettle plant in my backyard. I went out to gather some leaves for tea and saw the bug here. Usually ladybugs eat aphids so I figured the nettles might have some aphids on the leaves. Sure enough there were some clinging on the underside of one of the leaves that was in my tea cup. I tried to blow them off but the aphids would not let go of the leaf and I didn’t want to get stung by the nettle leaf so I ended up with a little extra protein in my tea, LOL. (At least no ladybugs were harmed)

On Saturday night the sunset was pretty interesting. The clouds were changing form very fast and at one point it looked like some rain was coming part way down from them. I like to watch the sunset when I get a chance.
Photography seldom captures the look of a sunset very realistically and I’m enjoying the fantasy look of the Google photos processing.

You are so right about the camera and sunsets. Photos never do them justice. Your edit is beautiful. Loved you ladybug shot and hope your plants sprouts some roots. Hope you are having a lovely Sunday:)
They are looking pretty wilted and dried up at this point. Oh well, I enjoyed them while they lasted but I'm doubtful they will root at this point, although it might still happen.
It takes a lot of imagination to be a good photographer. You need less imagination to be a painter because you can invent things. But in photography everything is so ordinary; it takes a lot of looking before you learn to see the extraordinary.

It is interesting how similar the red beetles are that we posted pictures of. The black patterns are a bit different on the shells and the beetle in your picture has a little more orange color.
You re-display a good image that you produce with your smartphone. But I have never seen you display some fish pictures. Like this for example

Thanks friend, wow, big fish. I've heard that there were a great many big fish around here too once upon a time... Legends are told about a canary that employed over a thousand people here but it closed long ago. Hence the lack of big fish pictures on my part, LOL. :D
