Inspired on Cent I'm sharing some of my night time and sunset photography from 20 years ago here on Steemit!

in #sunset6 years ago

I joined Steemit many months ago, I posted a few little articles I had written about a crypto project and had almost 0 interaction.

I thought that I should come back and try once again, this time with my original photography, if there's ANY decent motivating interactions I will post again.

I have been enjoying photography since I was 9 years old, but I hadn't been doing much lately.

Then I discovered @Cent the social media platform where you earn eth for interacting with or posting content, (come check us out and earn some ETH, the community there has inspired me to start my photography again, as well as writing poetry, sketching, making video blogs and much more! ( I couldn't do Cent justice with a short description, it is so amazing, special, and different from any other online space that I have ever experienced, that you really have to visit for yourself to even believe it!)

Here's some photos I found in a old photo album recently, I also found some from New York City, they will be my next post if this does well. (I lived and worked in the film industry from about early 2001-2005 in NYC.)

A sunset seen from up on Mt. Vision, around July of the year 2000, shot on a 35mm Pentax Spotmatic camera, with a fisheye lense.

It may have been the same day, not sure but it was that same summer, this ones looking a little farther north over the Drakes Bay Estero, with a 50mm lense.

Here is looking east from Mt. Vision towards Elephant Mountain, 50mm lense.

Cat tails with Mt. Barnaby in the background, different day same epoc, I think it was a 28mm lense.

Looking North up Tomales Bay after, sunset with a long exposure, I think with the 50mm. ( I think it was also hand held, I did a lot of night photography, and got fairly good at handheld long exposures - especially if its with a wide lense)

To wrap it up here's a real long exposure shot, it's from mount vision too but looking at the moon and stars, during a heat inversion, when the fog bank is all below the top of the mountain, probably the 50 or maybe 35mm lense, I think this is from august 1998.
Sailing through the clouds!

I really hope you enjoyed my photos!
