the sun is setting or moving downward on the horizon and soon it will be gone and disappear over the horizon, then it will be night.

Sunrise

The sun is rising on the horizon and soon it will light up the sky, then the earth. It will be day soon.

That’s Sunset the sun going down and darkness coming.
That’s Sunrise, the sun going up and daytime coming.
