Sweet Recipes

I tried this new recipe for ham in a slow cooker. It said to put one and a half a cup of brown sugar in the bottom of the crock pot. Put the ham in face down and then covered ham with another one and a half a cup of brown sugar caled on it, then cook for 6 hours on low. Welll I did that and that ham was so sweet, I got a sugar rush, like convulsions. I will never cook a ham with brown sugar. I've always use Emeril's recipe of Coca-Cola. It don't have to be Coca-Cola, it can be generic Cola also.

So sweet meat don't work for me I like a little sweet and some salty so you get the best of Both Worlds. Just messed up my whole Sunday dinner. :-(
