HOW TO FACE SUFFERING
The meaning of suffering is to endure something that is unpleasant, something that is difficult to bear in the heart or a sad situation that must be endured. The goal of suffering that a person experiences is the path to repentance. Indeed, the way of life that God chooses for a person is truly perfect. A person must sometimes experience tribulation in order for him to realize his mistakes. Someone who lives in pain and then does business or hard work never gives up so that his life changes to be happy. In fact, there is a theory that life is suffering, and the creatures that suffer the most are humans. Man suffers because he first wants to live. When humans declare that they are ready to continue living their lives, it means that they are also ready to suffer. Even though the truth is that humans live for the purpose of worshiping. Some examples of suffering:
- Losing loved ones.
- depression.
- family problem.
- work problems.
- cry.
Suffering is unavoidable and does not need to be avoided, because suffering comes from the results of our own actions. Therefore, everything that comes to us (even if it is suffering) must be accepted with understanding and sincerity. Thus we do not lose what God is actually teaching us. Understanding that our current situation is the fruit of our own actions that were previously planted, then we are strong in accepting suffering and are able to eliminate suffering in the future.
