From 2025 onwards, until any further update, applying for a student visa costs £490. It comes with an additional healthcare surcharge varying upon the course.
The 28-day rule – Applicants need to ensure that their accounts do not dip below the required amount for at least 28 consecutive days. Moreover, it is to be ensured by the applicant on the date of visa application that the closing balance is not more than 31 days old.
