Story behind every photo. FIRENZE. Part 4

italy-8-firenze-4.jpg

It’s been a while since the last post. Unfortunately last week I didn’t have enough time for blog, but I’ll try to keep the tempo in future ;)

So it’s Firenze again! When you walk just 2 and a half blocks away from Santa Maria Del Fiore and the main tourist’s routes you can find places and squares like Piazza della Santissima Annunziata, named after the small (comparing to others in Firenze) church Annunziata (not seen at the photo, it stands on the right of the frame), founded in the 13th century.

And we can say, that is only the backyard of this square. When you enter the square from the side of Santa Maria Del Fiore, there is a bronze statue of Ferdinando I – Grand Duke of Tuscany. And you can look back and again see the main Cathedral.

I came to this square accidentally, just walking. Then my route ran on the Via della Colonna to another square, which will be the subject of the next story ;)

This is it for photo #8. Next chapter is coming up shortly ;)
