"Thank you," he turned around to go but stood still, then turned to face Kuru, "I am sorry at my outburst," he apologized.

"Oh! Don't worry about it. Every man has his share of daily dose of problem," Kuru said as he paused to look at his future son-in-law. Leke went to Nui's hut.
Afterward, on a certain day, Leke had been invited by Ade to visit him. They were both seated in front of Ade's house that had been renovated to a modern building. The land had brought forth abundance for him that season.

Ade's life had undergone a lot of improvement including his house, his fiance and even his physical outlook.

"I thought you were to marry Nui after the new yam festival?" asked Ade, raising the gourd full of palm wine to his mouth.

"We have postponed it till the next new yam fstival," Leke said, his mind working like an ivercharged solar wall clock.
