RE: Does the human emotion WORRY have any place in TODAYS world?

in #story7 years ago

Wow. Nice write up. Worrying never solves tomorrow's problems rather it makes it bigger.

I never knew of the Amygdala. I just knew. Thanks for that. And Nice pictures too.
Also, where you listed three hormones involved in fight syndrome, I thought Adrenaline was one??. Do Correct me if I'm wrong.

I've got something you may love to read here https://steemit.com/health/@udembahenry/unknown-health-benefits-of-cucumber
You can resteem and Upvote too. Thanks

Worry is verbally focused while anxiety includes verbal thoughts and mental imagery. This difference is important, as emotional mental images such as those associated with anxiety provoke a much greater cardiovascular response than emotional verbal thoughts (such as those associated with worry).Physical symptoms of anxiety and stress are arguably equally as uncomfortable (or more difficult) than the psychological aspects. In many cases anxiety starts as a response or emotion that is felt in the body and eventually spreads. For example, if you are faced with a pack of hungry wolves and are in the woods alone without any help, you will feel “fear” – an emotion synonymous with anxiety. There is a lot of debate about wether worry is an emotion. I would say anxiety is a physical symptom of worry which would release the adrenaline.

OK. Thanks. I now understand. I would also say anxiety is a physical symptom of worry

Fear is the route to all evil! We could go on but analysis is paralysis! Don't you think? {:

Yeah. You're right cos most times what we tend to fear come upon us

My pastor used to say this all the time
