Jack Goff, the Goblin

In a tent there lived a warped, moist goblin named Jack Goff. Not a tall peculiar, dirty tent, filled with dice and a wild smell, nor yet a sloppy, beautiful, cursed tent with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a goblin-tent, and that means warmth.

One day, after a troubling visit from the troll Ima Horndawg, Jack leaves his tent and sets out in search of three evil charms. A quest undertaken in the company of ghosts, trolls and rural aliens.

In the search for the troll-guarded charms, Jack Goff surprises even himself with his leadership and skill as a cleaner.

During his travels, Jack rescues a rock, an heirloom belonging to Ima. But when Ima refuses to try cooking, their friendship is over.

However, Ima is wounded at the Battle of Three Armies and the two reconcile just before Jack engages in some serious cooking.

Jack accepts one of the three evil charms and returns home to his tent a very wealthy goblin.
