THE DIFFERENCES OF RA AND HORUS EGYPT
The picture above is the god of Egyptian mythology. The left is named Horus and the right is called the god Ra. Horus and Ra share the same head of the Eagle. Because of this similarity, many people who are confused recognize both the character of the god.
THE BASIC DIFFERENCE OF GOD RA AND HORUS RIDE
The most basic difference between Ra and Horus lies in the two crowns it uses.
The crown of Horus is called PSCHENT / DOUBLE CROWN which is a red and white @double crown.
This is the picture
While the crown used Ra has SUN DISC ornaments sometimes accompanied Uraeus (cobra snake).
The crown used by the Egyptian gods has a meaning as a degree of power. The crown is also the identity of the gods as well. That is the basic difference to the 2 gods.
@RAHORAKHTY (Ra joins Horus into ONE character / Fusion)
Since the 2nd @Dynasty of the old kingdom (2686-2181SM), Ra's role became so important. Pharaoh claims if they are Ra's son. In the text of the Book of the Dead states after Pharaoh's death ascended to Heaven to join Ra's entourage. Worship to Ra became massive in the 5th Dynasty. Accidentally built pyramids, obelisks, sun temples just to worship Ra.
The name of the merger of Ra and Horus is called RA HORAKHTY. Since then there is no Ra or Horus anymore, only Ra Horakhty which means Horus of 2 Horizon. Ra is the sun god, the god Horus who rules the heavens. By combining them, Ra Horakhty is considered the Ruler of the @Horizon.
Though called Horus of 2 horizons, this merging is for Ra's "dominance" character. Because of this also many who call Ra is Horus. But of course it can not be. We have to look at the year factor when and the @glyph translation was made for what god.
this is one example of the picture:
Many who call the picture above is as @Horus. Actually the story on the glyph is Ra. Although it has been called @RaHorakhty, the story can not be converted into the story of Horus.
@In addition to recognizing Ra. Besides headed Eagle, Ra can also have some form of Rupa namely:
Ra headed Baboon:
Ra shaped Crocodile:
Ra In The Beast:
Ra in the likeness of Lions:
Ra in another form:
conclusion:
The easiest way to identify Ra lies in the Sun's crown disc sometimes accompanied by Uraeus (cobra snake). The symbol symbolizes the divinity of the god Ra. The current naming error seems to have occurred after the invasion of another country and missperception occurred. But at least after this reader can already distinguish Ra and Horus.
