He completed the conquest of the byzantine Empire by successfully storming Constantinople after a 50-day siege. He constructed the largest cannons the world had yet known. The Greeks and Armenians were granted the freedom to practice their religion. Muhammad was a patron of learning and an accomplished linguist as well as a great commander.

Abu Haniga was the first who compiled and classified Figh and wrote many books.He excelled in humbleness and righteousness. He had many disciples, some of whom became great mujtahids. He earned his living by trading. He sent goods to other places and with his earnings he met the needs og his students.
