My top 5 ghost books
The top 5 books, which consists in something related to supernatural or ghost-like, which I enjoyed the most are the following:
Number 5.The shining - Stephen King
I think it really is a good book but I might say it's a little bit overrated. Indeed, Stephen King is an extremely talented writer, and his books create a sweet tension, thrilling the readers with his complexity as well as fascinating them.
Number 4. Haints, witches, and boogers - Charles Edwin Price
This book is a collection of novels, short ghost stories with real encounters which happened in the upper east Tennessee.
It's a good book worth reading if you like the ghost & hauntings style.
Number 3. Between- Jessica Warman
A story quite deep and catchy about a girl Elizabeth, who wakes up and sees her body drowned without any memories of what happened .She gets some company and tries to find out what happened with her in a mysterious road.
Number 2. The woman in black - Susan Hill
Indeed there is a movie after this book, I think you might've seen it if you are fans of horror movies. The story of the woman in black is surrounded by the mystery of what happened in Eel Marsh house. This isn't a long book and it's on the point with the action, letting the feeling of thrill and terror to crawl into our hearts . This book does what it should, focuses on the best things to make the readers tremble.
Number 1. Anna dressed in blood - Kendare Blake
I loved this book, and that's why it got the first place. The story of a man who kills entities, and a ghost who kills any human being. But for some reason she doesn't kill him, and befriends it . The story of love and rage combines brilliantly with the dark humour. I truly recommend this book if you want to be entertained by a great story and well developed characters.
