The biggest lesson in life you need to learn

in #story7 years ago

Once upon a time there was a ruthless king. He had 10 wild dogs. He used them to torture and kill any minister if his advice goes wrong. A minister once gave an opinion which was wrong and the king didn’t like it at all. So, he ordered that the minister be thrown to the dogs and thus get him killed.

The minister said that he served the king loyally for 10 years. Is this the reward for my such loyalty. The king was in no mood to listen to his request. The minister pleaded to give him 10 days before throwing him to the dogs.

The king agreed to his request.

In those 10 days the minister went to the keeper of the dogs and told him he wanted to feed the dogs for the next 10 days.

The keeper was baffled. But he agreed to allow the minister to do so. So, the minister started feeding the dogs, caring for them, bathing them, providing all sorts of comfort to them.

So when the 10 days were up, the king ordered that the minister be thrown out to the dogs as sentenced. When he was thrown in, everyone was amazed at what they saw. The dogs were wagging their tails playing with the now happy minister. They were licking his feet.

The king was baffled at what he saw. He couldn't believe his eyes.

The minister then said that he served the dogs for only 10 days and they didn’t forget his service.Yet I served you for 10 years and you forgot all of this in just a second.

The king realised his mistake and replaced the dogs with crocodiles.

Moral of the story: Once management has targeted you that is final. No way you can change the stubborn and rude attitude of others. And don't expect happy ending always. This may look funny but this is the undeniable truth.
