RIP LITTLE FELLOW
Bradley Lowery(2011-2017) who has been battling cancer passed away yesterday. The boy's life changed when he was struck with neuroblastoma at the age of 18 months. His family desperately raised money for his treatment but the doctors delivered the sad news that his cancer had become terminal. His mother broke the sad news to us yesterday.
Bradley is not unknown to the football world. He was a regular mascot for Sunderland Fc and he had a close bond with Jerome Defoe. The football community had come up for him and was loved by all the fans.
The little boy had a wish to receive Christmas cards and was duly fulfiled when he received an overwhelming response. About 250,000 cards were sent from all over the world.
He scored a penalty against Chelsea which was given the goal of the month. The Chelsea players showed class and were very supportive.
Its really remarkable to see how he was able to unite people from everywhere. Though he has left the world but his bright and beautiful smile would continue to live on with us. You made your mark on the world BRAD! . There is only one Bradley Lowery.
Rest in Peace.
