Why I DON'T miss school?
The school is a factory of average, medium, repeatable spare parts of doubtful quality, which the current corporate and business system needs. Entrepreneurship is taught there by full-time workers, making sure that the exercise related to the creation of a creative business plan agrees with the strict guidelines.
"I miss school" - words that I have never said, even at the most difficult moments in my life, when it would seem that a return in my mind to the carefree school times will bring a momentary relief.
I do not understand this nostalgia. For me, it's like a longing to stand in the worst wilderness you can imagine, in a snowstorm at -30°C with a pigeon shit on your head in a short-sleeved blouse. Masochism. Most schools are a gathering of poor teachers, who do their work with the passion of Chinese factory workers, screwing screws into the plastic casing of a TV set for 10 hours a day. There is no place and no circumstances where a young, energetic and eager mind can live out in terms of creativity. Teaching chemistry through spectacular experiences combining colourful powdered substances? It is definitely better to flood teenagers with a pile of chemical formulas, convincing them that this is what real chemistry looks like.
A system which needs to be changed
Today's education system is outdated and has to be changed sooner or later. Students are required to memorize ridiculous rules that can be searched on the Internet in seconds. They are forced to be intellectually obedient, indifferent to creativity, while at the same time rewarding the most humble, quiet, passive.
A school which doesn't teach useful things
You pass the high school leaving exam and go into the world, feeling like a free, adult man. You are facing the challenge of finding your first job, but how did the school prepare you for it? Very poorly. At the beginning you have no idea that inserting selfies with a Snapchat puppy filter and contacting via e-mail [email protected] in your resume will disqualify you at the very beginning. Even if you are lucky enough to get an invitation to a job interview, you probably don't go well with it, because stress puts chains on your logical thinking. Nobody has even spent an hour in several years of education to teach you how to cope with stress.
I would like to thank the ossified, impractical and outdated educational system, which for 12 years has consistently tried to put me on an equal footing with others, such as hedge trimming, deadly creativity, willingness to learn new things and a desire to read books.

One thing they never taught me in school...
