One day Okonta wanted the wifes of the two kings of Ebute to grace his bed. He wanted to have them for the night but they refused. That night they were beaten mercilessly, without no mercy but they stood their ground that they weren't going to sleep with the king and if they did they will make sure they kill him on bed. The king Okonta heard this and was furious, He decided to punish the people of Ebute wickedly the next day.
So the next day, the Okonta Called the two kings who were now captive. He told them he wanted to kill all his slave but the only way in which he will not kill them is if one of the kings do a game.
He said he would give him a small spoon and one of the kings will walk round the market square without allowing the egg to drop.
He promised to let go of all the prisoners if the one of the slave kings could win his contest.
On that day, everybody came outside. They had already arranged the slaves to be killed starting with the wifes of the king.
So one of the kings decided to do the task. As he placed the egg on the spoon, he moved round the market and did not break the egg. The egg did not fall.
So the called him and asked and he aswered that he was totally focused . He said he carried the egg as his life not his citizens life.
