One of the two newborns died, son of Safiqul Islam, a resident of Bichondair-Karayarpara village in Chandina upazila. The other is the son of Omar Farooq of Kangai village.

Locals said that Khalilur Rahman Palash, a village doctor of the village of Kailain of Joag union of the upazila, got married to Kamrunnahar after seeing a doctor about 10 years ago. Khalil then started a 'clinic' for renting a house in Nawabpur Bazar.

Palash was introduced to wife as a veterinary doctor in the hospital. Later, two people were coming to see patients in the area. About four years ago, Palash was separated from the clinic but he did not leave the clinic.

Kamrunnahar was providing various medical services including pregnant women's health checks, premature miscarriage, childbirth, syrajian operation.

A newborn's father, Omar Faroque, said, "After my wife's first child was born, I used to bring the name of the doctor Kamrunnahar to people often. On Wednesday afternoon, he (Kamrunnahar) made an ultrasonography of my wife and said to bring my wife in the morning.

According to her, I brought her (Kamrunnahar) Chamber at around 11am on Thursday. After bringing them, he gave his wife the ejection and saline. Please tell me that my son has been born on 5 in the afternoon. After a while again, my wife was sick and my son was dead because of delivery of a child to my wife.

The other child's aunt, Kulasuma said, "When I started the pain of my younger sister, we came to Kamrunnahar Chamber at 9 in the morning. The baby's body was gradually becoming cold since my sister's baby was born at 2pm. '

But he has detained his associate for interrogation. No one has complained about this incident to the newborn's family. We will take legal action according to the investigation. '

Comilla Civil Surgeon Mujib Rahman said, "I did not know about this matter before. Now as I have known, I will direct the Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer to take legal action against the false doctor. '
