Orphanhood 1

After the death of Cynthia's father, his three siblings agreed to share his three children amongst themselves and raise them. Consequently, Jennifer's father had take one of his late brother's children and that happened to be Cynthia. His wife had frowned at it, saying she could not carry the burden of raising a child that was not hers.

As a result, she poisoned her daughter's mind against the girl. Jennifer was mortally angry. She would prefer her father never brought Cynthia home. She was not prepared to share her father's love with anybody, not even Cynthia. Good a thing that had never been close. In fact, Jennifer and Cynthia had only met once, when Jennifer's father had taken her with her mother to their hometown upon one Christmas holiday.
