BOOK 1
CHAPTER 7

#At_Night_Same_Day
Grandpa tried his best to make Ruth eat her
dinner and stop crying,she seemed to hard to
console but later she fell for Grandpa's soft
words and ate her food.After the meal
prepared by Grandpa they bed goodnight and
went to bed...
Grandpa is a fast sleeper,he slept immediately
he entered his room.
Ruth cleared d dishes and checked on Grandpa
before going to bed....As she entered her
room,the words of Gazzy reflected in her
memories and it made her feel sad again as
she recalled what her Grandpa said about the
ring...
"Is Gazzy right that I killed my parents?"She
thought....
She looked at the ring on her right hand..."It
can't go off my hand"She thought further as she
tried pulling out the ring but to no avail.."What
is this ring all about"She thought more deeply
that made her drop tears from her eyes.....This
sad thought and tears gripped her mind till she
slept off....
#In_A_Dream_Same_Night
Ruth found herself walkking down a lonely road
with the speed as that f Flash.She moved liike a
lighttening as she stopped in the middle of
nowhere surrounded by thick bushes.She was
afraid but immediately her ring shone a briight
white light as she looked at it surprisingly her
feet left the ground and immediately she
disappeared...Her eyes got open seeing herself
in a bit dark court room.She looked around in
fear as she tried seeing in the dark..
"Why do you panick about a gift given to you by
the ancient Lords?"...A voice echoed from the
extreme end of the court...
"Who are you?"Ruth said in more fear
"And what do you mean?"She continued trying
to play courageous....
"Why do you cry just because of what you were
given to save the city of Zeutch?"...The voice
echoed againn
Now,Ruth knew that the voice was talking about
the ring so she held it close to her body in
more fear...
"Who are you,show your face if you are not a
coward"She boldly asked still looking around in
fear...
A man in shinnning white with a with staff and
white beard came out from the dark extreme
of the court room.The light was so much that
Ruth fell in sight of it..
"I am Lord Zeus,the guardian of the Chosen
one and that is you Ruth"
"How did you know my name and what chosen
one are you talking about"Ruth asked still on
the floor
"You were chosen right from the womb to say
the city of Zeutch"Lord Zeutch replied..."Now
come Let me show you something "Lord Zeus
stretched his hand to help Ruth up...Ruth
reluctantly held his hand and stood up to
follow...
Immediately they appeared in the inner part of
the court room and Lord Zeus pointed his staff
at a rock as Ruth watched...The rock reveaaled
all that happened over 2000 years ago..
After some minutes Ruth held Lord Zeus
"Am sorry for your loss"She said
"That is why you have to accept your fate and
stop crying at your fellow mate words and save
us all"Lord Zeus said with a low voice...Ruth
seeing the fact that she can't help it but accept
"I am just a little girl and little do I know about
this"Ruth said
"Don't worry,I will always be there to protect
You...I will send you a guardian that will
physically help you through it all"Lord Zeus
replied
"But,what about my parents that died when I
was born,did I kill them"Ruth asked
remembering Gazzy's words
"Hmmm,your Mum died as a sacrifice for you
and your Dad,his stubborness killed him when I
warned him not to kill you because of the ring
but he refused...That was what happened"Lord
Zeus replied looking into her eyes...
Ruth felt depressed..."You mean my
dad....."Ruth tried to say something but Lord
Zeus interrupted "Don't let it bother you,your
Grandpa will live to guide you till your work is
complete"He said as his body disappeared
gradually
"What is happenning to you "Ruth asked trying
to hold him but could not...
"Just kiss the Ring anytime you need my help.I
am always with you"Lord Zeus voice echoed as
he disappeared completely...
Ruth felt confused and more of sad because
she felt cmffortable with Lord Zeus but before
she could turn around the Ring shone up and
she was carried away by a lightening...

#Back_To_Her_Bed
Ruth jumped up discovering it was a dream but
the Ring was stll fading its light...She breathed
heavily as she recalled the words of Lord Zeus
iin the dream....

#At_Witch_Khareem's_Court
A great voice that spoke "THE CHOSEN ONE IS
ABOUT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT HERSELF"
Witch Khareem jumped up and thought "When
was she born...How stupid could I have been to
feel relaxed"....
All these went through her mind as she struck
her staff on the wall to see who the chosen one
was...But Lord Zeus covered Ruth that Witch
Khareem could not see her..
"Noooo!!!"Witch Khareem cried
Those fools are protecting the chosen one...I
must get to whoever it is before she masters
the Ring!!!!!!....She said breathing evily....
