Wall at work collapsed due to ongoing bouts of torrential rain!
When I shared my storm post late last night, the weather was still mild. But I did say that can change in a matter of minutes and we had another massive downpour in the early hours of the morning.
This is the sight that greeted me when I arrived at the shop this morning. The wall separating our shop's property from the block of flats next door has collapsed. To be fair, it was a ridiculous wall!!! I'm not happy that our premises will be more exposed over the weekend, especially as I have noticed some dodgy residents of the flats next door, but I will have to trust in our alarm system.
There is no flooding after the down pour!! If it were Bangkok, we’ll have two hours flooding and four hours traffic jam!
That wall was too old to stay tall! You need a younger and stronger wall!
Cheers.
We have had bouts of flash flooding, but we have hardly any traffic to disturb!!! The shop owners will come an fix the wall.
Oh no. well look at the bright side, you get to build a better wall
YES Love That Thinking!
That is a fantastic point of view!!!
Walls collapsing can be a sign of progress...
It worked for Germany.
HA! Now I'm just giggling!!!
I suppose....
It often is I believe!
it is true that the natural system is now erratic sometimes heavy rain accompanied by a strong storm @onetree
Yes, this is true!
Droughts in Cape Town, and torrential rains in your area. South Africa is sounding more and more like Australia every day. Fortunately no one was around when it came down.
Yes, it happened early this morning I presume, but it was so flimsy no one would have gotten seriously hurt.
wow! Now I feel silly complaining about the sound of a blowing tarp in our wind storms! Hoping for a quick replacement to keep out the 'dodgy residents' next door ;)
Hahaha, the sound of a blowing tarp can be VERY annoying!
I think some more of that barbed wire should keep the unscrupulous denizens of the other side of the wall away until it gets fixed :P
A couple of rolls wouldn't hurt!
Wow..Amazing photography ..I appreciate your content..Thanks for sharing this post..Carry on.
