Storj Coin support added!

More good news for the now over three -year startup company STORJ (https://storj.io/) which happens to be in the storage business. They refer to it as Decentralized Cloud Storage.

It is a perfect synergy of old file transfer standards augmented with support for a new cryptocoin based app. Storj spent over a year in Beta testing, rewarding people that:

• [x] staked their coins
• [x] shared free hard drive space

The network had been full of leechers (sharers) and low data transactions, it was not a profitable staking with low rewards. Now it's a full release and everything has changed.

NEW Protocol to choose from

FileZilla, our favorite file transfer software -- did something they haven't done in twenty years: they added a new file transfer protocol. It sits oddly in the drop-down menu. I nearly fell out of my chair when I first bore witness to change.

In addition to regular insecure text mode FTP transfers and its successor, the secure encrypted transfers SFTP provides.

Cloud Storage Replacement

If you are like me, you have a dozen accounts spread thinly over the free trial storage from almost all the storage providers. Storj Coins aim to replace the costly lifetime fees charges from all the cloud-based providers. The technology behind STORJ COIN works with the Ethereum Blockchain. They have signed deals with a lot of major players in the last couple of months.

Get in which the getting is still good

I have been investing with Storj from day-one. This hardly known powerhouse is ready to explode. It is highly undervalued since Bitcoins broke $15,000 last month.

Soon they will announce the minimum requirement for earning interest (PoS) [Proof of Stake].
