New Hardware Videos Coming & More!
DS-Tech Media Began With Hardware:
The first video I ever produced & released was about installing and testing the Corsair H100i-v2 liquid CPU cooler.
But now I'm going to do a video on my AverMedia LiveGamer2 Plus external HD capture card. I plan to capture some Silent Hill 2 HD Remaster gameplay from my Playstation 3.
Sadly about a year ago my liquid cooled machine started overheating again, and I had to set it aside because I was in the middle of a project and just didn't have time to worry about it.
The workstation I'm using now is better in most ways including recording thanks to Nvidia's NVENC capture technology, but it's not better at gaming.
I'm really starting to miss my AMD gaming machine, and I'm hoping it can be fixed so I might do a video about trying to repair that.
If I successfully fix it I'll be able to do more Linux gaming conent.
I need a new phone too....
My beloved Google Pixel XL is over 3 and half years old now, and I'll be geting a new phone shortly so I'll probably do a video on that too.
I've been a fan of Android for a long time now, and I never thought I'd consider switching back to iPhone, but iPhone does offer a lot of good opportunities when it comes to recording audio/video content so who knows.
Guide To Linux Audio Production PT. 2
I know I keep promising this video is coming, and it really is, but I've recorded and released several other videos too. Part one has actually been a huge success with 511 views 17 thumbs up (and 4 down wtf!) and usually the videos I do like that don't get as many views for the amount of work I put in to them so I'm pretty excited for that. Also I've had more subs on Youtube and LBRY in this past month than I think any month before it so I'm starting to feel like this is really paying off finally :)
I've currently got about 30 minutes of Part 2 ready, but the rest of it has to be recorded using my studio computer, and my other workstation with the capture card making it a more involved process.
Thanks for everyone who takes the time to support me, you have no idea how much it has meant. Steemit has been a big part of that for me.
