The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested a senior assistant engineer (Path) Mohammad Erfanur Rahman of Kulaura Section of Bangladesh Railway for accepting bribe money. The detained was handed over to Kulaura Railway Police Station.

Detained Erfanur Rahman son of Abdul Latif of Naogahat village of Ashuganj upazila of Brahmanbaria district.

The ACC team arrested him while accepting a bribe from a railway staffer at the station master's room of Kulaura railway station on Tuesday night. Later, the transfer of Erfan was handed over to Kulaura Railway Police Station at 10:30 pm and the ACC team

Deputy Managing Director of Habiganj District Samlit District Office, Maloy Kumar Saha said that Erfan had been receiving bribe and mosquito from his subordinate staff for a long time. He was arrested and handed over to Kulaura Railway Police Station.

Kulaura Railway Police Station OC Abdul Malek told that the ACC officials handed over Erfanur Rahman to the railway police station. Today has been sent to the court on Wednesday.
