Did you even read the article smooth..? :/

If you read the revision you can see that they came forward with some evidence that they'd asked permission of at least Mrs. Steemit.

In the the post initially I didn't have all of the information, I admit I made an assumption based off of the fact that an extremely dated photo of Mrs. Steemit was used and she had supplied more photos in the comments after the fact. To me this looked very much like they'd not gotten permission from her.. Again, I made an assumption based off of evidence I saw. I was wrong to do so.

If you read the revision I admitted I was wrong on that aspect. I left the original intact as well to show how I ended up at my initial conclusion.

I'm all for fairness in journalism. I asked for evidence and they provided what they could and I added it to my post. Calling it a false accusation is a bit aggressive especially when it's after I've fully admitted I was wrong in regards to them not asking permissions.. I've posted the evidence they provided in their favour to clear up my own ill-informed assumption as well as to educate others.. What more can I do really? :/
