Journal of a Travelling Nerd

Travelling with my family is an experience i would never forget. We rode in the bus from a district of Beaufort back to my home town, Kota Kinabalu. The journey took about 2 hours and a half (in fact, there was a car accident that delayed is for about 15 minutes.)

Travelling on the train in Sabah was another unforgettable experience. Sabah has only one train track which travels from Tanjung Aru to Tenom, which takes about 9 hours to reach (with 3 hours transit in between).

The view was amazing. My mother took many photos while i read my e-book on the phone. However, she reminded me often to make my phone disappear.

This is the oldest engine that travels from Halogilat to Tenom. We are very fortunate to ride on it.

However, there are people in the rural that depend on this train only as there were no infrastructure to help them go somewhere. I felt more fortunate to be living in the city and having lots of stuff in my life.
