Every year on Chinese New Year Eve, family near and far will gather to have dinner. For my family will always have gathering dinner at home. Since I came from a large family, just food for potluck itself are at least 10 dishes. 😄😄😄

So for this year we made it abit different. Instead of having it at home, we went for a buffet at Hillton Hotel Kota Kinabalu. It cost RM138/pax. 😬😬 But well we just gave it try.

Dessert section

From cakes 🍰🍰, sweet puff, mushmallow dipping chocolates🍫🍨🍧, to ice creams 🍦. Kids went crazy in this section 😄😄😄. But somehow I tasted the sweetest Oreo Cheesecake 😬😬😬 in which I don't like it at all.

Fresh Seafood Section

Fresh seafood like giant prawns🦐🦐, crabs 🦀🦀, and oaysters are available here.

Noodle in the Glass Section

This was the section I found it interesting. There were many selection and I tried all of them
If I still remember the name... Thai noodle 🍜🍸🍷in a glass, Shitake mushroom 🍄🍸🍷, Baby Octopus with Salad noodle 🐙🥕🍷🍸....

Hotpot Section

This section are food dipping called Luk Luk. People choose the uncooked food i.e. dumplings, fishballs, fish cakes, and more. Not very special to me because available outside the street.

Malaysian Food Section

Just next to the Hotpot Section, all Malaysian food available in this section. From Ginger beef🐄, Black Pepper beef🐄, Mixed Vegetable🥒🥬🥦🥕, Lamb Stew🐐, Curry Chicken/Lamb🐔... to Roasted Lamb 🍗🍗. Not bad at all but too normal for the price we paid.

Overall: I gave it 3 of 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟. I love the ambient environment, it's very relaxing.
