Apricot kernels (Prunus armeniaca) contain about 40-50% oil. The oil is obtained from the dried cores by mechanical pressing and subsequent refining. This oil is similar to almond and peach oil. Contains unsaturated essential acids (oleic and linoleic acid), vitamins A, C and E.
