SINGING, MY PASSION TO SERVE

Hi guys, today i present to you another positive side of me.
Earlier on my maiden post i made where i did introduced myself, i did informed us all that MUSIC is something i so much love doing as i do have great passion for it and GOSPEL MUSIC to be precise.
By the Grace of God, i happen to be Akwa Ibom Province 5 Assistant choir Director and Goodnews Zonal choir Director of the The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

                HOW IT ALL STARTED

I felt in love with Gospel songs and singing at a very young age of my life and the burning desire to be singing.
I also used to feel Fulfilled and had this Peace of mind when ever i found myself in a Gospel Concert Gathering. As i grew, i gradually discovered my singing talent and to sharpen it more, i had the privilege to join fellowships and Non Denominational choir groups then where i got groomed and nutured which really helped me develop so fast as it shaped me to what i now am.

REHEARSING AGAINST SUNDAY SERVICE

Before we minister on a Sunday services or any other services, we definitely meet and prepare for the program ahead.
During rehearsal for a Sunday service, we first of all comit to God through prayers and then hav a word of exhortation then we go into the business of the day. During the rehearsal, we cease the chance to pick leads for praise, worship, special ministration, welcoming first timers, tithe and offering then a standby lead should our service be needed as the Service proceeds.
It is important to note that Choristers are important as they a very sensitive department of the church and as such requires committed members who yeild to Gods word and service.

WHAT WE DID ON THIS DAY

Actually, this day was yet another day set aside for rehearsal and its on Saturday so to perfect and ensure that we are good to go.
We rehearsed for the choir song proper, went ahead to rehearsed the Sunday Hymns, praise and worship songs and also welcome song for our very important Personalities; FIRST TIME WORSHIPPERS.
It is worthy to note that we are always the fisrt partakers of the blessings even during our rehearsals before the Sunday service proper.
