I never understood why folks care so much that you don't want children. I follow a childfree creator, and she has faced hostility as a result of her choices. Not wanting children doesn't mean you hate them. I know I won't be a good parent. I know Im unable to be there for a kid. I know how draining it is physically and mentally. I deal with chronic illness. On bad flares, I want to be on the couch, not running around looking after a kid.
There's a debate: "Who's gonna look after you when you're old?" Why would you want your kid looking after you instead of a professional? We don't know what's gonna happen to us when we're old. Im not mentally fit to look after anyone
