During an hour long interview on blockchain and global markets that Josh Sigurdson and John Sneisen conducted with expert Stephen Kendal, Stephen dug into Steemit, a new blockchain social media that may just revolutionize not just social media itself but the use of blockchain. As Stephen points out, if you were to spend hours a day blogging on Facebook, shouldn't you make money off of it depending on the demand of the post? Well now we can! If you build a good enough network of followers on Steemit and provide frequent posts, you could make quite a lot of money off of it.
Stephen talks about how the markets could adapt in the coming years and that we may see things like "Facebook dollars" or "Twitter dollars" for posts as the social media landscape sees vast changes. This very well may be the future!
Stephen also made the point that there should be a Steemit app to break the "cool barrier" and bring in more young people as so many are skeptical about Steemit due to not understanding how blockchain works.
