RE: The Secret of the 4000 old Disc of Phaistos finally Revealed?

in #steemstem7 years ago

I would really, really like to understand what this disk is saying. Also, do you know if such disks are common? I came across a disk known as the 'Rattlesnake Disk' that was buried in a Native American pyramid, and I was wondering what the significance of a disk might be.

Thank you for commenting! There have been many attempts to decipher the disc of Phaistos, to read what is written but to understand it might take a very loong time (if ever)

Thanks for informing me about the Rattlesnake Disk, it was the first time I heard about it and it seems to be very interesting!

There is also another Disc named 'Magliano Disc' found in Tuscany, that resembles to the Disc of Phaistos. The Magliano Disc dates probably to 400 BC and has some similarities (such as the way it is written and probably read, in a spiroid form), but it is hand written on a round rock.
(While Phaistos Disc is stamped on soft clay that was baked to harden)

There are so many mysteries that can keep us so busy :)
