RE: Vaccines - How to change minds and change the world!

You post is well written and very informative, it got me thinking - maybe my whole approach is faulty.
I find myself in anti-vaxx argument plenty, and it never seems to work...
and yes, I tried talking to the logical sense in them.
What bothers me the most are people who preach to others, normal ones, and got them to stop vaccinating their child also. It's terrible.
It usually comes with plenty of scary stories of kids horribly dying from vaccine, and so-called 'research' from third-world country...
I wish there is something we can do, kids have no ability to protect themselves, we have to try for them.

I think @lifeaef makes some really good points from an anti-vaxx point of view. I know historically I have come off condescending and rude because of course my viewpoint is right and they just need to get over their fears and listen to reason. But this doesn't address them like real people. It only makes them double down and hate the medical establishment even more. We need to learn, as scientists and medical professionals, to approach people with compassion, even if the science is on our side.

Definitely, maybe that's what I need to work on. We should keep that in mind
