The Hero We Need
Sanitary pumpstations. The Hero We need, and I guess deserve. Chugging away 24hrs a day to keep the shit from hitting the fan (almost literally). I design a lot of these for work. Thought I'd share another piece of usually hidden community infrastructure.

haha Thanks man. The photo isn't the greatest -- but I'm trying to show a little bit of the unsung infrastructure that run communities in the background. Gonna try to reach out to the SteemStem group sooner or later here and see how I can contribute to some of the E parts of STEM.
No probs on the witness vote -- I dig the weekly technology reviews you do, and we've had a couple chats here and there. I appreciate the conversations we've had and how quick you are to reply. Truth be told -- I'm curious to dabble around with starting my own witness -- we'll see if I find the time to sit down and set it up (and get my hands on some hardware). I wouldn't mind picking your brain and hearing your thoughts on the memory requirements (I recall there was a recent post by @steemitblog, that said you don't have to have 128GB of ram, and lots of this can be dealt with via swap space on a fast SSD). Are you around on discord anywhere?
