RE: Light-Matter Interaction ----- Why we see the colours we do ----- Electromagnetic Spectrum
Good post. Spectrometry (correct word?) has so many applications nowadays from astronomy to pharmaceutical.
Thank you Oliver :) Yes indeed the act of measuring spectra (spectroscopy) is an invaluable tool for all area of science, from detecting atoms in the atmosphere of exoplanets, to identifying chemical bonds in molecules.
A good understanding of light-matter interaction can give a deep understanding of the nature of reality. I love physics and I love when other people are excited to learn new things too.
Cheers dude :)
