Disinformation In The Information Age: Theories Of Conspiracy And Paranoia.
If you thought that disinformation was a phenomenon of TV and other mainstream media, you are wrong.
With the arrival of the internet, any of us can be a mis informer and / or manipulator; the excess of information has become a sea of confused ideas, a sea of information much of it without sustenance, false or even someone who gives true information but misinterpreted or handled in a context where it ends up being a big lie.
And what to do, what position to take before this swell of information? What mental attitude can help?
It is not that there are no obscure and hidden facts to the masses, it is rather to learn to discern among so many facts where truth is mixed with fantasy. Conspiracy theories and catastrophic information dominate social networks and blogs and groups on, for example facebook, reaching the ridiculous and shameful. Conspiracy lovers love to talk about comets that will crash land and cause mass extinctions like Comet Elenin in 2011, destruction of life on earth on December 21, 2012 and the list is very long since . As time passes almost everything ends up being false. Facts that probably have a reality background, but that are interpreted by an ignorant and paranoiac mind.
There seems to be enough information to believe that the human history that was taught to us in school is false or at least with many truths combined with lies and when we discover this, it is when our instinct and curiosity impels us to look for alternative ways of knowing our true origin and our true story They discover things like secret societies exist for centuries or even thousands of years.
Things like the entertainment industry, especially the one related to music, film and television, are discovered that are full of strange characters that use symbols and methods unknown to the ordinary individual.
You can not deny events such as the one that transnational corporations (example the already well-known Monsanto among many others) commit crimes against nature and enslave low salaries to millions of people in the world; nor is it possible to deny the association of politicians with important companies that is related to the exploitation of human beings and of the planet earth championed by progress and using the entertainment industry as one of their main weapons.
the sphere of disinformation is also the very polemic theme of alien beings. Very controversial for several reasons, among them because there seems to be a real aspect in this matter, and it may be that they are non-physical beings like us or from another dimension and therefore more difficult to prove their existence by traditional methods, having to expand our consciousness and change perspective to be able to investigate on this topic. Controversial also because many of the alleged ships seen in the skies are rather advanced technology used by the armies of the world making us believe that they are alien spaceships.
These are really strange facts that deserve to be studied or deserve an explanation, but it is important to put on the table the fact that most of the time, the people who analyze these events do not have enough elements to make an objective evaluation. therefore our opinions are very commonly based on ignorance and fear.
A new world is opening before our eyes, walls and lies that fall without paying a price. Healthy skepticism is much needed today because, as I mentioned earlier, it has reached outright ridiculous extremes.
Very useful to face this wave of misinformation is not to contribute publishing information giving it as a proven fact and without providing our sources and bases. And for the reader it is best to remain skeptical in a healthy way, not falling into the extreme of many of our materialistic skeptical scientists, but doubting what is read, especially if the note is very tacky or if it is a video that catastrophic music is added to create fear in the spectator, or if it is of dubious source.
Learn to think for yourself and compare data and discern information.
By expanding the fear and misinformation with false notes and false and yellowish images the game is followed to those who could authentically be manipulating us, these people are like repeating antennae of television, that does not help in anything but quite the opposite.
